Official Square Knots
Knots that currently be awarded and earned.
Square knots are worn above the left shirt pocket to recognize specific training, honorary awards, earned awards and heroic actions. The Boy Scouts of America have changed the square knot color and some designs to match the ever-changing uniforms. Historic square knots are listed under Insignia/Uniform Parts/Official BSA Square Knots. There are also a few "spoof" square knots listed in this category.
