You have seen the evidence of earning this merit badge on every street and road. Sad as it may be
accidents do happen. You have earned this merit badge if;

You hit an animal or bird with your car or other transportation device. OR

You have been hit by an animal or bird while operating your car of other transportation device.

If you have earned this merit badge you do not automatically qualify for, but may have earned at least
partial credit for two other merit badges. Vehicle Customization Merit Badge or Road Kill Grilling.

Remember you can award this merit badge to someone you think qualifies as well as earning it yourself.
