World Crest & Program Ring Patches

World Crest and Program Ring patches are a meaningful way for scouts, leaders, and collectors to show pride in their Scouting program and their connection to the worldwide Scouting movement.

The World Crest patch represents membership in World Scouting and reflects the Boy Scouts of America’s long-standing participation in the global Scouting organization. In 2010, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, a commemorative ring patch was introduced to be worn around the World Crest. Since then, additional ring patches have been created for major events and programs, and the ring-style design has become a popular way to highlight program affiliation.

This collection includes program-specific World Crest ring patches for Cub Scouts, Venturing, Sea Scouts, Order of the Arrow, and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). These patches allow individuals to express both their program identity and their connection to World Scouting through a consistent, recognizable design.

Important Note

Only the World Crest patch itself, along with the Boy Scouts of America “Since 1910” and Messengers of Peace rings, are official BSA® insignia. All other ring patches in this collection are custom patches and are not issued, sponsored, or endorsed by the Boy Scouts of America or Scouting America®. Custom patches are intended for personal expression, collecting, or display.
