These shoulder patches were made specifically to identify units attending a national or world jamboree.
Jamboree Shoulder Patches were started in the 1950s. Their popularity increased in the 1980s. Today literally thousands of jamboree shoulder patches have been made. Now individual units from a council have their own unique shoulder patch.
