1953 NJ Souvenir Bell. Cast Iron with clapper intact. Excellent patenia and condition.
National Jamborees were started in 1935 with the first one to be held in Washington DC. Due to a polio outbreak, it was canceled and rescheduled for 1937. There was a time gap until the 1950 jamboree held at Valley Forge Pennsylvania. Since then the jamborees are held every four years. A couple of times the dates were changed to meet a special historical event. The last few years nearly 40,000 people a jamboree attended. World jamborees started in 1929 and have pretty much followed the every four years model of national jamborees, rotating to the off-year cycle. Find the memorabilia items from the jamboree you attended and buy them today!
