Camp patches date back to the beginning of Scouting. Camp patches could have been hand painted on a piece of leather, wood, or any other material. During the 1920s and through the 1940s many were silk screened on felt material. In the 1950s there seemed to be a move to embroidered patches. They come in all sizes and shapes.
